Former Prime Minister and CPN Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, who is on a visit to Japan, has met with senior leaders of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party of Japan. A meeting was held with Prachanda and senior leaders of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan at the LDP headquarters in Tokyo on Tuesday. Former Secretary General, former Minister of Finance, Trade and Industry and Member of the Japanese House of Representatives and Chairman of the Nepal Japan Parliamentary Committee Toshihiro Nikkai participated in the meeting. According to Prachanda’s secretariat, during the meeting, issues such as exchange of high-level visits, development of sisterhood between local cities/towns, Nepal’s agriculture, hydropower, and physical infrastructure were discussed in order to further strengthen the mutual relations between the two countries.
