The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has submitted a letter to the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) demanding reasons for the rise in prices of petroleum products. On Monday, a team led by RPP spokesperson Gyanendra Shahi handed over a letter to the corporation demanding the cost of petroleum products and the reason for the price hike. Similarly, a letter was handed over to the VVIP of Nepal stating how much oil is provided in a year and how much is the bonus of the employees of the corporation, said Shahi. The protest has started after the Oil Corporation raised the price of petrol to Rs 199 per liter and diesel to Rs 192 with effect from Monday.
