Nine others have been injured in the incident. The deceased have been identified as 7-year-old Roman Pariyar and 12-year-old Kiran Pariyar, said DSP Satyanarayan Thapa of District Police Office, Pyuthan. Both of them succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Bijuwar, police said. Meanwhile, nine people have been injured in lightning strikes in wards 1 and 6 of the district. The condition of one of them is said to be critical. He is undergoing treatment at the district hospital.
