Home Minister Bal Krishna Khan has said that an investigation will be launched into the shooting incident in the Orali Bazaar area of ​​Madhuwan Municipality-2 of Bardiya. Replying to a question raised by the lawmakers in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, Home Minister Khan said that Navina Tharu was killed and several others were injured in the incident. After the locals were injured in the tiger attack, the locals started protesting. Minister for Mines expressed his commitment to take action against the culprits as he did not order the firing on the protesting citizens. He informed that a five-member committee has been formed under the coordination of Home Ministry Joint Secretary Hari Ghimire to investigate the incident. The committee has been directed to investigate the incident and submit a report within seven days from the date of commencement of work. Similarly, he said that seven persons involved in the gang-rape in Banke have been arrested and promised to take action as far as possible. Stating that there was information that 16-17 year old men were also involved in the incident, he said that he was positive towards the demand to include information on prevention of sexual violence and punishment. During the meeting, the lawmakers said that action should be taken against the shooter even if the Home Minister, Sidio, did not give instructions in Bardiya.
