Bamdev Chhetri, vice-chairman of the Lumbini Provincial Planning Commission, has said that the state budget will not exceed Rs 37 billion. He said that the budget for the fiscal year 2079/80 of Lumbini province will be made up to Rs 37 billion by increasing the amount of Rs 35 billion in the state. Speaking in an interview organized by Reporters Club Nepal Lumbini Pradesh in Butwal on Monday, he said that a smaller budget would be available rather than a larger budget. He informed that the budget would be prepared keeping agriculture, health and education in the center and concessional loans would be provided to the farmers without deducting 90 percent subsidy in agriculture.
